What we hold, and how to make us stop

Written to be read, not to be survived. If something here is unclear, that is our fault and we will rewrite it.

Where your information came from

If we contacted you first, your name and address came from public county records: the recorded deed for the property and the sheriff's sale or tax sale record. Both are open to any member of the public. We do not purchase consumer data from brokers.

What we collect from you

Only what you send us: the property or owner name, county and state, your name, one contact method, and — if a claim proceeds — the documents needed to prove it. The records lookup on our home page runs entirely in your browser. Searches you run there are not transmitted to us and are not stored.

How we use it

To search the record, evaluate the claim, and prepare and file it with the county or court and our contracted counsel. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with other recovery firms, and we do not accept referral payments for passing your name along.

Documents and retention

Deeds, probate paperwork, and identification are sent through a one-time encrypted upload link, encrypted in transit and at rest. We keep them while the claim is open and delete them within 90 days after the file closes, except where a court record or a legal obligation requires us to retain a copy. You can ask for deletion at any time.

Your requests

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email claims@phoenixequitygroup.com. We respond within 30 days.

Opt out

One request stops mail, calls, and texts.

No confirmation call, no retention attempt, no transfer to another firm. Enter whichever detail you were contacted at.
