Phoenix Equity Group uses lawful research methods to identify potential surplus funds and the individuals or entities who may have a legal interest in them. Our sources include court records, property records, deed histories, foreclosure filings, probate records, tax sale records, business filings, and other publicly available information.
If we contacted you, our research indicated a potential connection between you — or a property, estate, business, or entity tied to you — and funds that may remain after a foreclosure, judicial sale, tax sale, or similar proceeding. We do not contact people at random.
The records Phoenix reviews are public documents. Foreclosure proceedings, judicial sales, tax sales, probate matters, and many property transactions are filed with and maintained by courts, county offices, and other government agencies. These records are generally accessible to the public, including researchers, recovery firms, attorneys, and individuals.
You can independently verify the underlying case, property, or public record by contacting the relevant court clerk, Master Commissioner, county recorder, or other holding authority. Phoenix will tell you which case, property, or public record led us to contact you so you can perform your own verification.
Phoenix Equity Group is a private asset-recovery company, not a law firm. We coordinate research, documentation, and the administrative recovery process from start to finish.
When court action is required — such as filing a claim, motion, or request for disbursement — an independent attorney handles the appropriate legal filing. The attorney-client relationship, if any, is established directly between you and the attorney. Phoenix does not practice law or provide legal advice.
Phoenix Equity Group is a private company. We are not a government agency, court, county office, bank, or public authority. We do not present ourselves as the court, county, or any government entity, and we do not have the power to issue orders, garnish wages, or take enforcement action.
Any funds we pursue are held by a court, government office, Master Commissioner, or other custodian. We help claimants navigate the recovery process; we do not control the release of funds.
Financial recovery cases can attract scammers who use publicly available information to make their calls, emails, or letters appear legitimate. Knowing details about your case does not mean someone is legitimate. Phoenix Equity Group works on a contingency basis — we do not require you to send us money upfront to begin working on your recovery.
Phoenix Equity Group does not require an advance payment, deposit, processing fee, filing fee, or retainer before beginning recovery work. If someone asks you to send money upfront to recover or release your funds, do not send it.
Be especially careful if someone pressures you to act immediately or asks you to wire money, purchase gift cards, send cryptocurrency, or make a payment to "release," "unlock," or "secure" funds supposedly owed to you. Phoenix will never ask you to make this type of payment.
Foreclosure proceedings, property records, court filings, and other information related to your case may be publicly accessible. Someone knowing your property address, foreclosure details, case number, or potential surplus amount does not, by itself, prove that person or company is legitimate.
Before Phoenix Equity Group begins the recovery process, you receive a written agreement explaining our services and compensation. Our recovery fee is contingent upon a successful recovery. Our interests are aligned with yours: we get paid when your recovery is successful.
Independent Verification
If you receive a suspicious call, text, email, or letter regarding your funds — or someone asks you to send money in connection with your recovery — do not use the contact information they provide.
Instead, contact Phoenix Equity Group directly using the official contact information published on phoenixequitygroupllc.com.
